Hi there! I'm Carmen!

I'm a Germany-based artist and software developer with a passion for bringing ideas to life - whether through clean code or beautiful, intricate surface patterns.

My creative process involves drawing, painting, printmaking, and collaging. I love experimenting with different media and techniques, often losing track of time and everything around me while making a total mess with my supplies ;-) For me, creating art is a form of meditation and the perfect counterbalance to my analytical work as a developer.

Besides art, I'm deeply inspired by nature and love reading books—the old-school kind, made of paper. Spending time in libraries has become a beloved ritual of mine.

Why "donkey spirit"? Well, I've been told once or twice that I can be "as stubborn as a donkey." But I see it as a strength—it's the perfect metaphor for stubbornly following your intuition and staying true to your vision.
